Yes, this could be a cabin-equipped sailing vessel with unfurled, non-white sails.
It could also be the Grim Reaper out enjoying a spot of paddleboarding.
Thank you for your offer of providing additional proof by way of photos from your phone, but we’re sure that there will be plenty of other opportunities to capture a clear photo with your drone by the time the competition has ended. Sailing along the Devon and Cornwall coast is hardly a niche pastime…

Fair enough, I wasn’t sure exactly how close to the water you were after, having done a lot of research that was kind of the closest I could come up with. Northern Ireland has few (if any) suitable options for such an establishment, particulary given the lack of canals where most of these waterside pubs seem to be located. If I can come up with an alternative I’ll resubmit otherwise I’ll just have to forgo this one.
Junior scorer Quentin has nearly worn out his magnifying glass in the process of evaluating today’s bumper crop of entries!
He’s decided to exchange it for a more powerful model, but nonetheless has thrown some scores together before heading off to the shop. Click the Pic ™ for today’s LEADERBOARD
Ade, sorry to have to tell you but neither of those engines is a side tank as required for the bonus point. Both are saddle tanks, so called because the water tank sits over the boiler like a saddle. This earlier post should lead you to a deeper understanding of what is required.
The black engine with red lining is WD 71516 “Welsh Guardsman” - a WD Austerity 0-6-0 Saddle Tank and is in the siding awaiting a new cylinder block. 813, with the cab roof missing, is undergoing major repairs, it has a broken casting under the cab floor. It is a 1900 0-6-0 Saddle Tank originally used at Port Talbot for shunting.
As your military site was effectively an edit to yesterday’s post to clarify location information, then yes you do indeed have one more entry left for today.
