John, bad news we’re afraid - we don’t consider your entry to be public art but it is public information.
The signpost and the stainless meridian line have no more artistic merit than any other similar street furniture. We have searched the web for information regarding the globe and in no case is an artist’s name mentioned. It was funded through and commissioned by the Cleethorpes Renaissance Town Team but there is no reference to any particular artist on their notice board.
As your entry has been rejected in its entirety you are of course able to resubmit a different object for consideration
This is Derwent Isle in Derwent Water, in the Lake District.
There is a building
It is a house
And it is inhabited (see Derwent Island House - Wikipedia)
This is Rheged service area, near the junction of the M6 and A66 in the Lake District. You can see the pumps area to the left of the picture and the cafe, shops, etc. are on the right side. All with a lovely grassed roof.
The cafe is not Costa or Starbucks (see picture below)
There is a cinema (and other things) as part of the complex. (See https://rheged.com/cinema/)
As a new user, it won’t let me embed more than one image, so the link below takes you to the full video - the steam of which you see at roughly 4m07s, and smoke before that too
We regret to announce that two of our valued judging team have “sought exciting new opportunities elsewhere.” This will not, however, affect the service you have been enjoying to date.
Please welcome our two new team members who took up their posts this morning. We confidently expect that Doug and Dinsdale will pursue their duties with vigour and tenacity …

I need a couple of guys like the two DD’s you have just employed to add some points to my entry below.
A couple of things to consider - I have been running a high temperature for the last few days - however I and my lookout left home early this morning to judge the moment best to take a few pictures with the drone - suffered loss of signal whilst flying the drone through the tunnel and then stop starting the drone to allow footfall to pass.
Anyhow it gave me great pleasure to submit this entry.
We are sorry to hear about your fever and hope you make a speedy recovery. However this will have no bearing on our decisions.
Whilst we appreciate a screenshot of the exif data, can you possibly provide any proof that the drone was actually in flight? As dictated by the rules?
Question regarding Item12- Railway track passing under a road bridge
Does it require the train engine to be under the bridge for the bonus points . Or is it sufficient for a train to be passing under the bridge but its carriages only can be seen,(after previous rejected entry though I had better check prior to submitting)
12. This may be your Mission Impossible - a railway track passing under a road bridge
3 bonus points if a train is passing underneath the road bridge (not approaching or leaving) and there is a full-size articulated lorry (tractor unit and 40-foot or longer trailer) completely on the bridge. - i.e.within the confines of the bridge walls.
Bonus point if the truck cab colour matches Christie’s ornamentation of the aged Quercus.
With the forlorn hope that the pilot may be near enough to capture a truck crossing the bridge it is unrealistic to expect the whole train to be in shot. Some part of the train, not specifically the locomotive, must be directly underneath the bridge as the truck passes over.
If the shot is of a track going under a bridge with no train and truck then one point only will be awarded, both train and truck must be correctly positioned for three bonus points and the cryptic colour clue for the cab must be correct for the final bonus point.
Just try and avoid a two carriage train - although the rear had almost vanished beneath the bridge, I couldn’t see the front at all - so couldn’t really use it.
This is a list of pictures taken whilst the drone was in the air
DJi 0710 to DJi 0721 (all in flight)
I simply can’t answer the question - but I feel somewhat not trusted by the info provided.
I can certainly show you more pictures than those listed above if required. If this is not agreeable, I’ll simply lose the point/s and show some of the scenes in the general drone club pix.
Bonus point if there are light trails on each of the roads serving the roundabout - minimum 4 roads.
Bonus point for Timelapse or Hyperlapse (seperate from main subject and other bonus points)
Speeded up video is acceptable with a compression of atleast 5-1
