lol
Dog but no Guide dog no that’s not right
So yes that plug is 100% wrong.
R1 is going to the 10v pad on the vista.
And 10v is going to the sbus pad on the vista.
From right to left:
Red wire is wrong.
Black wire is correct.
White wire is correct.
Yellow wire is correct.
Black wire is correct.
Yellow wire is wrong.
So personally to keep the wire colours correct you need to swap the 2 end wires over in the connector so that the Red wire goes from the 10v pin in the plug to the 10v pad on the vista and yellow wire goes from the R1 pin in the plug to the sbus pad on the vista.
How to de-pin and re-pin JST connectors:
Ok thanks il have a look at it tomorrow then give it a try …
Thing is I altered the CLI as above, is that now going to affect it ??
Shouldn’t do no.
Let’s just work on one problem at a time and let’s get the wiring correct, we’ll worry about if it works after we know that the wiring is correct.
Post another picture the same as above once you’ve swapped the wires over in the plug so we can check it again
Check the accessories that came with the flight controller. There is supposed to be a DJI cable supplied with it that should have the correct wiring configuration.
Watch the accessories section around 1 minute into the video. That way all the wires will be the correct colours
Looking correct now, just make sure that the wires are pushed all the way in and are locked back in place.
The yellow wire doesn’t look like it’s all the way in the connector the insulation sleeve of the wire should be all the way inside the connector there shouldn’t be a gap.
Ok Il double check and fire it up
Make sure your antenna is connected as well
ok all good get a start up tone and I no longer have to put the smoke stopper in 2Amp mode as to stop it tripping out …
As to double check are my ports correct ??
As Iv tried it with the controller and still have nothing, or do I need to remove that code from the CLI ??
What protocol did you set on your goggles Nick? If its ‘Normal’ then you need to un do the cli command. If its on the ‘DJI’ setting then the cli is correct
I change it back to normal, but I can change it back and give it a go see if that works ??
Yeah give it a go on the other setting first. It’s worth a try
Yeah nothing, I’m starting think the worst has happened…
Didn’t think id be that lucky.
Have you got a lipo connected when you’re checking the receiver tab in betaflight?
yeah
You think solder to another UART ???
OK so try setting the goggles back to ‘Normal’ and then type into the cli set sbus_baud_fast = OFF then remember to save. Then try again
