Whats your favourite quad at the mo and why

At the mo im loving my Beta85hd, iv just upgraded the canopy to a TPU one so it bounces more than it breaks.

Iv also altered my rates,so its a little ripper now, great for flying in smaller areas and through gaps…

Its next upgraded will be a caddx starlight cam so I can capture that great footage of flying through tight places and hopefully share on here …

I’ve two favorites right now - my DJI Fpv as it’s my first HD drone and quite a fun drone to fly. I’m building up to manual mode and already planning on converting my other drones over to HD where I can.

I’m also still in love with my first ever self build “Chameleon” after using a few pack this afternoon.

It’s such a punchy agile quad. Flies like a dream

I am missing my 210 titanium arm frame. My first 5". You get used to the weight and feel of it.
But I am rebuilding it :+1:

Diatone Roma F4.

Not only does it fly great…

Not only does the footage look wonderful from the Caddx Peanut…

But it was also free in a Youtube giveaway!

My two favourite, or rather the two I’m flying at the moment, are the Eachine Tyro119 six inch, and surprisingly (to me at least) the DJI FPV drone.

The Tyro119 just feels so well dialled in. The DJI FPV Drone flys like a bus at the moment when compared to my other FPV quads so I’m still experimenting with the rates and expo settings. I’m also waiting for a restock of the Aikon prop adaptors so I can ditch the crap DJI things and use something better.

Some arrived for me this weekend - just need to fit them.

Then adjust the rates and whack it in manual :metal:

Got to agree on that.

I love mine and its the easiest to fly of all my quads but its on the bench at the mo needing a new motor :slightly_frowning_face:

What happened with the motor Nick? Yeah it’s the smoothest quad I’ve flown so far. The fact that it comes with a tune straight from the factory probably helps, I’ve not tuned any of my quads before, they all run on default settings lol

Favourite for me at the moment is my Nazgul (v1). I used to prefer my 3" as it was a bit less intimidating and easier to throw around, but I’m getting way more confident and skilled with the 5" now that it kind of makes the 3" a bit redundant. The BetaFPV 95X whoop is fun and I really want to fly it more, but when I have half an hour spare, it’s the Nazgul that I grab as I’m walking out the door.

Not sure really it all happened when I went out the other week when it was foggy.

I was trying some tricks out and got disorientated and ended up reversing into 1 of the cooling towers :man_facepalming:t2: .

No damage visible on the motor it just wont turn properly.

Its really stiff in 1 place as if its bentor got something in it :man_shrugging:t2:

Yah love my 85 hd il let you know what ist like with the starlight cam… means I can fly later in the day :+1:t3:

Bent shaft, typical symptoms

Maybe try replacing just the bell?

Never thought of that  the impact never broke the props

Iv looked but not sure how you separate them

At the bottom of the motor either a screw (easiest) or a tiny circlip (pain in the ass). Then you should be able to separate the bell from the stator
