Thank you Chris I stand corrected I think it was the case when I bought my first drone ….apologies to all readers
Mine is on top of the Mini 3 and also I have “3d printed” a plate with my OPERATOR and FLYER IDs, which I made it visible at all times during my flights. I think this potentially avoided people to ask me if I had license to do what I was doing it. ![]()
I have both flyer and op ID on top of the mini2, and on the controller. That way I don’t have to land to quickly prove to police I’m registered
Hi all new to the forum but been flying drones for years always learning; I printed of my ID and phone number below and stuck it to the top of the Mini 2, thought about the battery compartment but this will do for now.
I’ve had a quick look & even typing the title failed to show any results .
I had some cheap labels made to put on to my drone , batteries & controller , they have been on around 2 weeks but are already beginning to peel off
Where are people purchasing decent quality labels for their drones , what info do you have printed on them , how do you fix them & what is the average cost ?
Cheers
Hi
I believe they are simply Dymo or similar type & I have them stuck onto the top surface of the drone and also each of the batteries
They are laid out as follows
GBR-OP-
-XXXXXXXXXXXX
Cheers
@Jeff831 moved here, have a coffee on this lovely Sunday morning and scroll up ;o)
Get your own labeller they come in handy for a million and one things
Stuck on my drones for 6 years no hassles
I have these, not had any issues thus far:
I got my Dymo & labels from Lidl, they & Aldi sometimes have them very cheap.
Agree I label everything of mine otherwise it goes walkies. ![]()
On labeling the drones I’ve on mini 3 on top the DJI fpv and air2s on sides
Hope you’ve all labelled your labeller.
Ohh I like that!
I got some printed with a QR code that links to a site to report if found.
Which is a free service. I can’t remember where I got them from though

LABEL MACHINES… These thermal print machines can be found very cheaply. The paper rolls are expensive and altho’ they say the can be water/oil proof I noticed a couple said that they should not be used in sunny positions,So beware.
At least Dymo does not fade!!
You can’t go wrong with the Brother labels
I got one or two like that as well with my family of klepto’s. ![]()
