My old man served as an apprentice at Swan Hunter. I have vague memories of seeing the Arc Royal being launched as a 6 Year old (had to look up the launch date! lol), although the overriding buzz about the ship seems to have lingered longer in my memory.

Even as a young’un I knew the name Swan Hunter meant something very special.

We were in the centre of our local town and its little streets are lined with second hand shops and coffee shops. Couldnt believe just how many there were.

All very sad to see. A definite sign of the times.

@JonD - I’m assuming, since I see no Industry, that this is an entry for Water?

@lee Sorry, this entry is not valid. By the word “Industry”, and the examples provided, we meant Industrial and we have since renamed the theme to clarify this.

For example: Solar farms, cooling towers, viaducts, canals, railways, ports

I did like the solar farm image, but love the cooling tower shot @sunstone, the colour of the light on those chimneys is just perfect​:ok_hand: a winner for me :+1:
