A nice bit of weather today … at long last!
Still only venturing to the end of the field, damn you shift work
Mini 2 at Drax 1630 today with a bit of Snapseed magic
@milkmanchris … Any work full stop !
Awesome sunrise combined with a rare WFH day AND ideal conditions for getting the drone up for the first time in weeks. I don’t often fly from the back garden for obvious reasons, but I’ve been gritting my teeth for weeks!
All took on Auto, apart from the first one which was took on manual to stop the ISO being too bright and introducing tons of noise.
Pretty much the same place as this morning but did some long exposure. It’s just been nice to venture out and be able to fly the drone for the first time in weeks. Think I’ve finally got night photography sussed on the Mini 2. None of these have had any noise reduction done as of yet. Not sure they need it. Hopefully weather stays good enough to actually go out and find some Windmills over the weekend!!!
All looks familiar … amazing photos from a camera that can fly!
Great to see somewhere you know, and the house you were born in!
Love frosty morning photos.
A view along the A82. After taking the sunrise shot on our way home from Scotland, I turned the drone to see if I could capture the near darkness of Buchaille Etive Mor and Glen Coe. I have to say that I am more than impressed with the M2P. Much of this was too dark for the naked eye to make out and yet the detail captured is mightily impressive. Let’s see what the Mavic 4 (or the Mavic 3 Pro or whatever it is going to be called) has to offer.
Stunning mate.
Many thanks Ade, really appreciated
I had I intended for this to be my Remote Church for the 4th Birthday Challenge but I never did get around to visiting. Or it could have been that @stevesb had already tagged it on dronescene.co.uk
It’s local to me and as you can see it was a nice day to fly. I was worried that being close to the airport would stop me taking off but they gave me permission so all was good.
Cracking image Steve of my favourite view!
Thank you so much John. Mine too. I love Scotland and it is such a shame I live at the other end of the country. If you are interested, I took loads of DSLR images while up there in October that are in this album here: Album
Today’s lunchtime trip. The old mill chimney at Milford, Derbyshire. I’ve been wanting to do this one for a while. TIL it’s got a lid on.
Superb album Steve, you managed to cover a fair bit of Scotland in one trip
My favourites were Glencoe obviously, the Fairy Pools but outright winner was the shot from the beach at Elgol on Skye I once drove from Glasgow to Elgol and back in one day just to get a photo from that beach. I was knackered lol and didn’t get anywhere near as good light as you got.
Ditto to what John said. Wow. Absolutely stunning
I need to go to Scotland again. Last time was when I was 15.
Was it just me or does Hamish the Highland Bull look a little like Boris Johnson
